There are two techniques for forehead lift . The first one is the classical forehead lift surgery, which is almost never performed anymore. Endoscopic forehead lift surgery is another method applied. During this surgery, the skin is first cut 1.5-2 cm in length, one each in the right and left temporal region, and one each in the right and left upper part of the forehead, so that the skin remains inside the hair. A camera with a diameter of 0.5 cm is inserted into one of these incisions. Through the other incisions, instruments specially designed for endoscopic surgery are inserted. With the instruments, the muscles under the skin are separated from the muscles to which they are attached, and a small section of the muscles that cause downward sagging and lines is cut away. The skin separated from the bones is then fixed upwards.
Another advantage of endoscopic forehead lift operations is that the longitudinal incision scar that occurs in classical forehead lift operations does not occur in this operation. The surgeon decides which of these methods to use. The incisions are sutured with self-melting threads. As a result of these procedures, your forehead will be stretched and at the same time your eyebrows will be raised upwards.
